Phoenix FC Volunteer Opportunities

We rely on and value the contributions of the many incredible volunteers in our organization and we participate to build this connected soccer community together - dedicated to developing our future leaders. Volunteers make our community better and together, we can achieve remarkable things.

  • Our volunteer bonds are not fees.

    Bonds are delayed charges that are only processed if specific commitments are not fulfilled. For most families, bonds will never be charged.

    The Volunteer Bond is assessed to families with players in U8-U19 programs. This is a per family bond, meaning families with multiple players would only receive one bond assessment.

    Team Manager or Team Volunteer Tracker are to submit completed team hours to Phoenix FC Office by the season deadline.

    Any outstanding volunteer hours will result in a bond being processed.

    Volunteer Fee Refund Process

  • Volunteer Bonds are only assessed at the end of the season if volunteer hours aren’t met by the season deadline.

  • Indoor 2025-2026:

    • U4-U7: No Hours Required

    • U8-U19 (Tier 4): 4 Hours Required

    • U8-U19 (Tiers 1-3): 6 Hours Required

    Outdoor 2026:

    • U4-U7: No Hours Required

    • U8-U19 (Tier 4): 3 Hours Required

    • U8-U19 (Tiers 1-3): 4 Hours Required

  • Club Roles via Sign-Up Genius: Tracked and submitted by Phoenix FC Office

    Team Roles - Tracked by Team Manager or Team Volunteer Tracker

    Team volunteer hours are submitted either by the Team Manager, or the Team Volunteer Tracker, by keeping a spreadsheet of the team’s volunteer hours, and submitting the document at the end of the season, or when everyone has completed their hours via team roles and opportunities.

  • Deadline to submit hours for Indoor Season: March 31st

    Deadline to submit hours for Outdoor Season: August 1st

Team Managers or the designated Time-Tracker can download the team hour-tracking sheet. Please submit this to office@spdsa.net at the end of the season, or once the volunteers on your team have completed their minimum required hours.
