We encourage families and spouses to join our programs together, making it a perfect activity for everyone. Embrace the excitement of the game, share memorable moments, and experience the camaraderie that comes from being part of a team.

All participants register individually and indicate their desired team assignment within their registration, if applicable.

Recreational Adult FAQ

  • Program Dates: May-June

    Recreational Adult programs will feature:

    • 1x game per week

  • Teams will compete in our local Phoenix FC league against other Phoenix FC teams within Sherwood Park.

  • Teams will play at Millennium Place in Sherwood Park.

    Sessions run ~75 minutes.

  • Team’s utilizing players UNDER 18 are required to:

    •  Roster AT LEAST one person who has completed all safe sport requirements prior to being rostered:

      • Criminal Record Check (CRC)

      • Respect in Sport

      • Rule of Two

      • Soccer for Life (Online)

  • Recreational Adult programs play a 7v7 outdoor game format.

    (6v6 + Keepers)

  • There is no post-season for the Recreational Adult Programs

  • Existing teams re-use uniforms. Additional or replacement jerseys are subject to a replacement fee. Shorts and socks are purchased separately by the player.

    Teams are allowed to purchase and use custom jerseys.

    Please ensure your have shinpads and appropriate footwear (plastic-studded outdoor soccer cleats are recommended at this level)

  • Cancellations may occur due to severe weather, poor air quality and extreme heat. 

    We will make every effort to reschedule on the same days, though this is not always possible.

Adult Recreational (16+) - Mixed Tier 4 League

  • This is a Mixed-Gender League!

    • Teams must keep a minimum of two female players on the field at all times during play

    Teams will be organized into groups based on the average age of the players on each team

  • Sunday

    Game Times: Times range between a 3:30pm-7:30pm start, depending on field availability and the number of registered teams. Teams rotate start times throughout the season.

  • Min. 12 - Players

    Max. 25 - Players

    Please note: A team can only have 20 players on its bench for a game.

  • $145.00 (Feb. 2 - Feb. 17)

  • $175.00 (Feb. 18 - Mar. 23)

    Players can join teams mid-season, and will have their fees pro-rated for the games remaining in the schedule.

  • Phoenix FC allows for installments of registration fees:

    Season Payment Plan:

    • Initial Payment: $100.00 (Program Fee Deposit)

    • Second Payment: $75.00 on April 15

Adult Recreational (16+) - Women’s Tier 4 League

  • This is a Women’s-Only League!
