Q: What do players do at a Training Camp?

Phoenix FC Training Camps vary in curriculum, but our highest priority is to encourage hard work and “repetition without repetition” - essentially building your skills through repeated actions in a way that feels engaging, dynamic, and fun!

Q: What are the benefits of Training Camps?

Often times, players don’t get many touches on a ball during a game - made more apparent when field and roster sizes increase. Phoenix FC Training Camps are here to work on aspects of individual skill and technique through purpose-built activities designed to make players comfortable working under pressure of game-situations.

Q: Do I have to be a current Phoenix FC Member?

Yes, our Training Camps are only open to current Phoenix FC members, unless explicitly open for non-members.

Igniter Camps are aimed at Phoenix FC players aged U9-U12 (2014-2017)


Emerging Athlete

Camp

Looking to take your soccer skills and understanding to the next level? This camp challenges players on technical and tactical abilities through game-based curriculum following the learning principle of Repetition without Repetition.

Emerging Athlete Camps are aimed at Phoenix FC players aged U13-U17 (2008-2012).


Director’s

Camp

The Director's Camp bypasses standard training protocols to act as a catalyst for player development. This is 3 hours of Individual Technique Refinement designed to sharpen cognitive processing, optimize neuromuscular efficiency, and enhance your technical skillset.

Aimed at Phoenix FC Competitive players (Tiers 1-3) aged U11-U19 (2007-2011).


Rise + Grind

Training Camp

Designed for teen soccer players, to help you move safely, play stronger, and reduce risk of injury. Athletes train the physical qualities that directly support performance on the field: hip and knee stability, core strength, balance, acceleration, deceleration, and change-of-direction control.

Aimed at all Phoenix FC players aged 13+ (2013 and older).


LeadHERship

Camp

Developing the whole athlete, focused on technical skill development, tactical awareness, athletic training, leadership opportunities, and competitive play. All within a supportive and empowering female environment.

She Can Rise Camps are aimed at Phoenix FC girls aged U12-U17 (2009-2014).
