Due to expected heavy rain June 27-28, we are moving our She Can Rise 3v3 Tournament inside.
The new location for the tournament is 170-3001 Buckingham Drive, Sherwood Park.
Schedules will be released on the TeamLinkt App.
There is an adjustment to the Boost Her Skills Competition due to space and time constraints:
Event #1: Hardest Shot
We all love the sound of a powerful kick! Pick a teammate who can put some zest into her Lemon & Ginger Shot!
Step up to the cone and give it your all. Scores will be determined by RADAR measurement.
Event #2: Accuracy Test
There’s Nuttin’ Better than a top-corner goal! Pick a teammate who can perfectly place it!
Step into the box and pass this challenge! Scores will be determined by number of targets hit. The further the target, the more it’s worth!
Event #3: Scanning Challenge
It’s Mind Over Matcha in this event! Seek out a teammate with great vision and heads-up play!
Listen to the sequence and touch the coloured cones as fast as you can. Points awarded for the most correct cones in the fastest time.
Event #4: Bosu Bounce (replaces Goalkeeper Challenge)
Who wants to challenge the Monster Booster Ball? Pick a teammate with great balance, coordination, and precision!
Stand on the Bosu Ball and return the serve with a delicate volley. Points awarded to the most returns in a minute.
Event #5: Dribbling (replaces Sprint)
Can you dribble the ball like a Tropical Tornado? Pick a teammate for this challenge to test agility, coordination, and speed!
Dribble the ball through a series of cones and run back. Points awarded for completing the challenge in the fastest time.

Our ALL Female 3v3 tournament from the players to the coaches to the referees is back for another year!

Tournament Rules and Procedures
Roster Size
Teams will consist of a team of no more than five (5) players. During games, teams will have three (3) field players on each side. In-game and “on-the-fly” substitutions are permitted. Pugg nets will be used; there are no goalkeepers.
Game Restarts
A restart constitutes a throw-in when the ball exits the field of play. Possession is determined by the game official. Opponents must be a minimum distance of 3-yards away from the restart. Restarts are from the halfway line after a goal.
Fouls/Warnings
If a foul occurs, a free kick is awarded to the team who the foul was committed against. All free kicks will be indirect.
If a serious foul occurs, in lieu of a yellow card, a verbal warning will be given to the offending player by the game official. Should the same player commit another serious foul after a verbal warning has already been issued, the player shall be removed from the field for the duration of the game, regardless of the amount of time remaining. A replacement player will be allowed to substitute on for the ejected player.
General Rules
U8: Size 3 Ball, U9-U12: Size 4 Ball, U13-U17: Size 5 Ball
Games will be a total of 25 minutes.
No offside.
No retreat line.
Opening possession, starting at center, is determined via “Rock-Paper-Scissors”
Slide tackles are NOT allowed
Appropriate equipment is required (shinpads must be worn by all players)
Whichever team scores the most goals wins. Draw in group games stand. Draw in play-off games go directly to “last-woman standing” juggle-off.
Mercy Rule is in effect (5-goal differential)
A 3-point system is used for group games: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw (tie), 0 points for a loss.
Tournament Results
U9-U11: No scores or standings will be kept in accordance with Canada Soccer guidelines. All registrants will receive She Can RISE lanyard and medal for their participation.
U12-U15: Gold and Silver medals will be awarded for top two teams in each bracket after round robin play.
Tie-Breaker Rule
If 2 teams are tied on points, the winner will be determined in the following order:
Head-to-head result
Goal Differential
Fewest Goals Against
If 3 teams are tied on points, the winner will be determined in the following order:
Goal Differential
Fewest Goals Against
Tournament Structure
The tournament organization will try its best to have teams grouped in tournament brackets with teams of similar strength. Each team will get a minimum of three (3) games with the potential of a fourth (4th) game (final). Tournament brackets may vary. Placing of teams will be determined through the earlier mentioned 3-point scoring system.
The Booster Juice Boost Her Skills Competition brackets will be based on age.
For unforeseen issues that may emerge, that cannot be resolved through current rules and regulations or unanimously agreed upon measures, the tournament organization will make the final decision.

Teams can be mixed Competitive and Recreational**
Ages: U8-U19 (2007-2018) + Ladies (Aged 16+)

It’ll be a Tropi-Kale Twist to see who finishes first in this head-to-head sprint race! Seek out a teammate with great vision and heads-up play!
