Referee Courses
1. Mini Referee Course (Ages 12+): March 15th, 2026
Eligibility: Must be at least 12 years old by the date of the course.
What you’ll do: Officiate as a head referee for "Mini Rules" games (typically U8, U9, and U10).
Assistant Refereeing: You will receive basic AR training and can be assigned as an AR for games U13 and below.
2. CSA Entry Level Course (Ages 14+): April 18th, 2026
Eligibility: Must be at least 14 years old by the date of the course.
Requirements: You must complete the CSA online Laws of the Game modules (via SmarterU) after registering but before attending the practical session.
What you’ll do: Eligible to act as a middle or assistant referee at any level or age group based on your skill and experience.
How to Register
Refcentre is used for both setup and registration of ASA approved courses, as well as yearly registration for returning officials once they have an account setup.
Important: Please ensure you check your age eligibility against the course dates before signing up. For those taking the Entry Level course, keep an eye on your email for your SmarterU login credentials once your registration is approved.
