We believe strongly in the power of our volunteer coaches as mentors and leaders of our athletes! Whether your soccer experience is vast, or you’re new to the game - we appreciate your willingness to learn and develop your skills!

Game Sheets
Please fill these game sheets out prior to your kick-off time. Game sheets are submitted to the referee to complete during the game. Referees will submit completed game sheets to the Phoenix FC Office.
Becoming A Coach

Complete your staff registration at the beginning of the registration period.

Follow the “Become a Coach” button.
Select the Coaches/Team Staff Form
Complete the steps as prompted.
Review and Submit.

We appreciate the work of our volunteer coaches!
New for 2026, our volunteer requirements are charged as a Season Bond at the end of the soccer season.
Volunteer bonds for U8-U19 will be waived once the following steps have been satisfied:
Team Staff registration is complete
A valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) and/or Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) have been submitted
The Team Staff has been assigned to a roster.

SafeSport Requirements
We are working to ensure that all of our coaches meet the SafeSport requirements for their teams.

U6-U9: FUNdamentals
Coach must have a valid CRC, Respect In Sport, Rule of Two, and FUNdamentals online.
U10-U11: Learn To Train
One coach on the roster must be fully certified (Criminal Record Check, Soccer for Life Online & On field, Respect in Sport, Rule of Two, Making Ethical Decisions, Emergency Action Plan, Making Head Way)

One coach on the roster must be fully certified (Criminal Record Check, Soccer for Life Online & On field, Respect in Sport, Rule of Two, Making Ethical Decisions, Emergency Action Plan, Making Head Way)
All other coaching staff - Criminal Record Check, Respect in Sport, Rule of 2, Soccer for Life online.

We have also worked out an arrangement with St. Albert. For courses in St. Albert, coaches will need to pay the course fee, but it will be reimbursed by Phoenix FC.
Coaches will need to call St. Albert to pay, and mention they are coaching with Phoenix FC to qualify for a reduced rate.
